Festive opening of the congress and banquet centre
April, 2009, the Aristos Hotel opened a new congress and banquet centre with additional facilities. The opening attracted many public figures and business partners. The welcome note was said by Barbara Kolar, the presenter at the opening, and the guests could enjoy many gourmet specialities and an interesting programme with Đani Stipaničev, Danijela Pintarić, Ivana Kindl and Nikša Kušelj. After a pleasant social gathering and introduction of the new facilities, the guests participated in a prize contest. The luckiest ones left with nice prizes.

European Water Polo Championship 2010 This was the 29th European Water Polo Championship, which was held in Croatia. It started on the 29th of August and finished on the 11th of September. The champion was, for the first time, Croatia, the hosts, having beaten Italy in the finals. The third place was won by Serbia who beat Hungary. Hotel Aristos hosted national team of Italy and Greece team. |
